About The Position

Reporting to the Executive/Director of Development, the Associate Director will develop and implement plans to identify, cultivate, and solicit new prospects and donors for annual/sustaining gifts, with specific goals to be met. The Associate Director will assist the Director of Development in the staffing of the Foundation Board’s Committees. This position offers the opportunity to work with and collaborate with many different departments within and outside of Main Line Health. Key working relationships would include Foundation Board members and other fundraising volunteers, donors, vendors, patients, physicians, patient families, department managers, employees within the department, and other affiliates.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of direct experience in fundraising, preferably with an organization with demonstrated success in annual or major gift programs, donor relations and managing volunteers and/or staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to identify, cultivate, and solicit new prospects and donors for annual/sustaining gifts.
  • Assist the Director of Development in the staffing of the Foundation Board’s Committees.
