About The Position

Reporting to the Executive/Director of Development, the Associate Director will develop and implement plans to identify, cultivate, and solicit new prospects and donors for annual/sustaining gifts, with specific goals to be met. The Associate Director will assist the Director of Development in the staffing of the Foundation Board's Committees. This role involves working with and collaborating with many different departments within and outside of Main Line Health, including Foundation Board members, donors, vendors, patients, physicians, patient families, department managers, and other employees and affiliates.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in annual or major gift programs.
• Experience in donor relations.
• Experience managing volunteers and/or staff.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.

• Fundraising experience preferably with an organization with demonstrated success in annual or major gift programs, donor relations and managing volunteers and/or staff.

Responsibilities

• Meet specific goals for fundraising.
• Assist the Director of Development in the staffing of the Foundation Board's Committees.
• Work with and collaborate with many different departments within and outside of Main Line Health.
• Manage key working relationships with Foundation Board members, fundraising volunteers, donors, vendors, patients, physicians, patient families, department managers, and employees within the department and other affiliates.
