Our products marketed in the U.S. include: GIAPREZA® (angiotensin II) is a vasoconstrictor to increase blood pressure in adults with septic or other distributive shock. XACDURO® (sulbactam for injection; durlobactam for injection) is a new treatment designed specifically to treat hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia (HABP) and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (VABP) caused by susceptible strains of bacteria called Acinetobacter baumannii-calcoaceticus complex in adults. XERAVA® (eravacycline) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat patients with complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAI). ZEVTERA® (ceftobiprole) is a newly approved advanced-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and the only FDA-approved cephalosporin specifically designed to treat adult patients with Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections (bacteremia) including those with right-sided infective endocarditis. In addition, Zevtera is approved in adult patients with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI), and adult and pediatric patients (3 months to less than 18 years old) with community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP). Nuzolvence® (zoliflodacin) for oral suspension is a first-in-class, single-dose oral antibiotic for the treatment of uncomplicated urogenital gonorrhea in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older weighing at least 35 kg. Summary of Position: The Associate Director of Commercial Operations plays a key role in enabling commercial excellence through effective management of the data, reporting systems and reporting capabilities that support business performance and decision-making. This role oversees the Commercial and Marketing Data Warehouse, leads Master Data Management (MDM) processes, and ensures seamless integration with Veeva CRM and related platforms. Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, and other stakeholders, the Associate Director helps drive data integrity, operational efficiency, and actionable insights that support commercial success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Business Analysis or Data Management experience, including at least 2 years of experience focused on Data Warehousing, MDM and Reporting.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience and expertise in MDM required.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical reference and sales data (867, SP, IQVIA, Symphony, claims) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business owner for the MDM process within the CDW for HCPs, HCOs, GPOs and other customer types, ensuring a single source of truth across downstream systems and processes. This will be done in partnership with a vendor managing our CDW/MDM.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, IT, Finance and Compliance) and external partners to maintain data quality and integrity across various data sources and the overall CDW framework.
  • Address data inquiries and ad hoc requests from field teams, commercial leadership and business partners.
  • Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee Power BI dashboards (national and subnational), including business rule definition, UAT, training, rollout, ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
  • Manage internal data sources such as rosters, alignments and target lists, serving as the primary liaison for vendors using these files.
  • Proactively identify and refine business requirements to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Serve an active role in evaluating new data sources, overseeing their ingestion into the CDW and use in ad hoc analytics and syndicated reporting.
  • Oversee data stewardship activities and provide guidance on business rules.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, user guides and training documentation.
  • Manage and optimize the integration between the CDW and Veeva CRM, ensuring timely and accurate data flow.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality, streamline workflows, and improve data governance.
  • Play a key role in support of leveraging AI capabilities to improve overall business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Commercial Operations leadership to assess opportunities to bring new data sources in-house in support of current and future portfolio assets.
  • Bring an operational efficiency mindset to the role and develop new business processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness within the commercial organization.
