About The Position

This is a permanent opportunity to join our Relationship Management team based in Manchester. As an Associate Director, you will manage a portfolio of business customers with lending requirements up to £10m, focusing on day-to-day relationship management and smaller, less complex deals. You will also support Relationship Directors on larger transactions, gaining exposure and experience to progress within the team.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial banking or a similar financial services role.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Sound understanding of risk, governance, AML, and KYC frameworks.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results.

Experience in trading businesses will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of business customers with lending up to £10m.
Support Relationship Directors on larger, more complex transactions.
Prepare and submit high-quality loan applications for smaller deals.
Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell banking products.
Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
Champion a high-quality customer experience and continuous process improvement.
