About The Position

Eurasia Group is seeking an Associate Director, CEO Operations to join the Office of the CEO in New York. This role provides primary support to the CEO and reports to the CEO’s Chief of Staff. This position has two primary areas of focus. First, driving the CEO’s top three priorities—Talent, Revenue, and Data—ensuring strong execution and follow-through across Eurasia Group’s commercial and research platforms, including by keeping EG’s senior advisors fully aligned and engaged. Second, helping run the CEO’s office—supporting the effective day-to-day operations of the office, enabling the CEO and Chief of Staff to operate at full speed. The Associate Director will build strong connections across EG’s senior leadership, making this a high-visibility, cross-functional role at the center of the firm’s leadership. The ideal candidate is a sharp, collaborative, and results-oriented professional who combines strong business acumen with exceptional organizational judgment, project management capability, and interpersonal skills. This is a primarily in-office position, with flexibility as circumstances allow. Periodic domestic and international travel may be required to support CEO engagements and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in international relations, political science, public policy, or a related field preferred.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in research, advisory, government, think tank, consulting, or senior executive support.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced environment with high accountability and time constraints.
  • Strong grounding in geopolitics and international affairs, with the ability to synthesize complex global developments into practical implications for senior leadership, clients, and commercial strategy.
  • Familiarity with Eurasia Group’s research agenda, client base, and advisory model strongly preferred; comfort engaging substantively on geopolitical topics with senior internal and external stakeholders is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to move quickly across regions, industries, and topics.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience producing clear, structured materials under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal communication and comfort synthesizing information for senior audiences.
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver reliably under time pressure.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills across stakeholders and teams.
  • High discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across levels and functions.
  • Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders in support of business development and relationship management.
  • Responsive, service-oriented, and credible in representing senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools; familiarity with CRM and/or project management platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO and Chief of Staff in driving the three priority areas—coordinating hiring pipelines and leadership development (Talent); supporting commercial strategy and tracking progress against growth targets (Revenue); and structuring initiatives and ensuring organizational alignment behind data strategy and capability-building (Data).
  • Prepare the CEO for high-priority engagements by coordinating background research, briefings, and inputs from across the firm’s commercial and research platforms.
  • Draft and edit briefing materials, talking points, correspondence, presentations, and meeting summaries in support of the CEO’s priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with EG senior leadership across commercial and research functions to ensure alignment with and delivery against CEO-directed objectives.
  • Support the CEO’s Chief of Staff—who leads the senior advisor relationship—in keeping EG’s senior advisors fully informed and activated in support of the CEO’s Talent, Revenue, and Data priorities.
  • Coordinate regular touchpoints and briefings with senior advisors, tracking their contributions, follow-ups, and alignment with firm objectives, in close partnership with the Chief of Staff.
  • Identify opportunities to more effectively deploy senior advisor networks and relationships in support of commercial and strategic goals.
  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives by setting workplans, clarifying owners and timelines, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Manage shifting priorities and keep stakeholders aligned as needs change.
  • Maintain simple tracking systems for action items, decisions, and follow-ups to support effective executive operations.

Benefits

  • The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000
  • The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
