About The Position
Orangeburg Dentistry is seeking an Associate Dentist to join its established, growing practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The practice provides comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry in a welcoming, technologically advanced environment, with a focus on long-term patient relationships and providers’ professional and financial success. Experienced clinicians and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The practice uses technologies including CEREC and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), and offers a wide range of services, including gum disease and periodontal care, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry, TMJ-TMD treatment, digital X-rays, laser dentistry, intraoral imaging, oral cancer screening, teeth whitening, SureSmile®, sleep apnea and snoring prevention, and dental implants. Requirements
- DDS or DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid state license to practice dentistry in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications required by the state, including CPR and DEA credentials, as applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of practice experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose patients, prescribe treatment, and provide or direct others in providing oral health care services in the patient’s best interest.
- Contribute to a team-oriented and collegial environment by working with clinical and non-clinical staff as needed.
- Follow policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with current accepted professional standards.
- Improve clinical skills and knowledge through continuing education and training opportunities.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives as needed.
