The Associate Dean for Teaching & Undergraduate Studies is a critical member of the Kennedy College of Sciences' senior leadership team, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for the College's teaching and undergraduate education mission. This position serves as a key advisor to the Dean, contributing informed input, innovative solutions, and collaborative leadership to advance excellence in teaching, learning, and student success. The role is essential to developing and implementing initiatives that enhance the undergraduate student experience, promote academic quality, support faculty in instructional excellence, and ensure the College remains responsive to evolving educational needs and institutional priorities. By providing leadership across academic programs, student success initiatives, curriculum development, assessment, accreditation activities, and policy implementation, the Associate Dean helps ensure the College achieves its strategic goals while maintaining a high standard of academic excellence. The position also serves as an important liaison among faculty, department leadership, students, and university administration, fostering collaboration and supporting effective decision-making across the College.
