About The Position

The Associate Compensation Analyst is responsible for field (restaurant) compensation delivery for approximately 900 equity restaurants, which includes timely bonus plan administration, minimum wage monitoring and issue resolution, assisting with survey participation/market analysis, and delivery of year-end compensation activities (salary planning, annual bonus payouts, etc). In this role you will report into the Total Rewards Business Partner (TRBP) – Taco Bell & Habit Burger, which has the majority of the equity restaurants. As the Associate Compensation Analyst you will also work closely with the broader Yum Total Rewards teams, Division/Brand People & Culture teams, HRIT, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure best-in-class execution of our programs. You will be required to attend the Irvine, CA office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Responsibilities

  • Administers brand restaurant bonus plan payouts (period, quarterly, & annual), working with Payroll, HRIT, and Decusoft (Compose) to ensure accurate & timely payouts; helps manage any exceptions during and post bonus payouts; helps simplify, streamline and support field bonus plan administration by identifying opportunities and providing support for their execution.
  • Assists with field bonus design reviews with brands and field bonus system testing (in partnership with HRIT) to ensure bonus plans are appropriately set up for accurate and timely payouts
  • Administers field US year-end for AGM, RGM, and ACs (merit/salary increases primarily) for brands working with field leaders and People & Culture teams, including Oracle Workforce Compensation (WFC) reviews through payroll validations
  • Working with Legal and GovDocs who provides compliance regulation updates ongoing, conducts semi-monthly reviews of field employee pay relative to minimum wage standards; sends proactive updates to Division/Brand People & Culture teams to address
  • Provides front-line customer service for Division/Brand People & Culture, Finance, & Operations regarding bonus (system also), pay (including benchmarking), and any other ad-hoc requests; provides ad-hoc market benchmarking, best practice/trend research, and analysis
  • Assist the TR design team with annual survey data collection and reviews for both field
  • Monitor & send updates to coach, legal & brand partners on any upcoming legislation; works with brand partners on any data needed to support changes
  • Execute ad hoc special projects driven by brand priorities, collaborating with TR Design team to analyze and deliver compensation data that informs brand decision-making
