Associate, Commercial Insurance
About The Position
Acera Insurance is seeking an Associate, Commercial Insurance to provide support to the Commercial Insurance teams by processing documents, invoicing premiums, preparing cover letters, producing certificates of insurance and schedules. Requirements
- Adaptable to working effectively as a team or independently with the ability to adjust to tight and changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
- Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
- Level 1 license preferred and working towards Level 2 BC Broker License
- Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC) & Policy works
- Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Responsibilities
- Handles issuance and sending of certificates, pre-renewal, renewal, new business submissions and proposals as requested
- Helps with the maintenance of activity lists as requested (Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOV’s, etc)
- Supports processes and procedures and best practices
