About The Position
The facility-based Associate Clinician works in constant face-to-face contact with persons served, primarily in a group home or residential treatment center. The role aims to increase each person’s capacity for independent community living through establishing support and rapport, modeling, teaching, and providing activities and learning experiences.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, nursing, vocational or psychiatric rehabilitation, education, or another mental health field; alternatively, a registered nurse with direct mental health field experience and direct care, at-risk, or comparable experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish support and rapport with persons served.
- Model and teach skills that support independent community living.
- Provide activities and learning experiences.
