About The Position
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is expanding its network of independent Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to provide specialized behavioral health support to federal wildland firefighters and dispatchers. This 1099 contractor opportunity is based in the Fairbanks, Alaska area and uses a hybrid model combining telehealth with scheduled in-person engagement. Clinicians provide confidential, evidence-based care tailored to the occupational stress, trauma exposure, and culture of wildland first responders. Services include individual and group therapy, routine clinical care, crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, and treatment planning. The position offers clinical autonomy and schedule flexibility, with competitive hourly rates.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctorate in a mental health discipline.
- Current independent licensure in the state of practice.
- Must be in the Fairbanks local area.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical care.
- Experience working with military, first-responder, or other high-acuity or trauma populations.
- Specialized training or certification in trauma-focused therapies, such as EMDR, CPT, or Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy for issues including PTSD, critical incident stress, compassion fatigue, and substance use.
- Provide routine clinical care and immediate crisis intervention during high-stress periods.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Develop precise, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide services through telehealth and scheduled on-site engagement.
