About The Position

Dispenses medical and surgical supplies and patient care equipment with regular guidance. Ensures appropriate supplies are ordered and received, and that inventory levels are maintained. Provides requested materials and equipment, assembles carts for distribution, and maintains supplies and equipment in clean, safe working condition. May capture patient charges for supplies. The position follows established procedures to solve routine problems and contributes individually to a team. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of experience.
• Basic job knowledge of systems and procedures common to the role.
• Ability to follow established processes, monitor inventory, and inspect equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide requested materials and equipment in a timely manner.
• Assemble carts for distribution.
• Keep supplies and equipment clean and safe, and maintain adequate supplies in storage locations.
• Clean, prepare, and test specialty beds or equipment for safety.
• Order and receive appropriate supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• May capture patient charges for supplies.
