About The Position

Hilco Vision is an industry-leading global eyewear and eye care company with subsidiaries in the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Its product portfolio includes Prescription Safety, Lenscare, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing, Ocular Surface, Exam Supplies, and Vision Testing. The Receiver supports warehouse operations, including receiving incoming freight, counting incoming purchase orders, and entering products into the system. The position works the 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. shift and is paid weekly.

Requirements

Demonstrate safe work behaviors.
Have 1–3 years of experience in a receiving or warehouse environment.
Have forklift certification and/or forklift experience.
Be experienced with MS Excel for exporting, reviewing, and cleaning up product inventory spreadsheets.
Be well versed in receiving, loading and unloading, stocking, and inventory control.
Be able to read and understand a bill of lading (BOL) to confirm delivery amounts and locations.
Be able to use a computer to receive products into the system, complete inventory-related transactions, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Be punctual, reliable, and a team player.
Be comfortable working in varied temperatures and environments, including hot and cold conditions.

Responsibilities

Receive inventory into the system by counting incoming purchase orders, verifying counts, and using ERP and WMS systems.
Use MS Excel to clean up data, run reports, and export data from WMS (Softeon) and ERP (Infor M-3).
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
Unpack and count goods, then route them to appropriate storage areas.
Work with the team to safely load and unload truckloads of product.
Confirm physical product amounts against packing lists when accepting inventory deliveries.
Store and put away inventory safely and accessibly using hand trucks, manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts.
Perform other duties as needed.
