About The Position

This role is for an Associate Business Development Executive who will assist Business Development Executives in the daily management of accounts. Key responsibilities include preparing for and managing Quarterly Business Review Meetings, taking and providing meeting notes, and directly managing smaller client accounts. The role also involves supporting the Lead Generation Manager in identifying potential global drug development targets, researching their pipelines, identifying contacts, and collaborating with territory-based Business Development Executives/Managers on cold calls, mailers, or marketing campaigns.

  • Intermediate to advanced Word, Powerpoint, and Excel skills.
  • Experience using SalesForce.com software.
  • Experience with outbound calling (calls to customers, clients, members, alumni, etc.).
  • Ability to drive to client sites.
  • Ability to travel greater than 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Seeking out, finding, and developing new clinical business leads.
  • Researching various drug development companies and updating their information in the SalesForce.com database.
  • Making outbound calls to drug development companies including CROs, medical device, animal health, and cell & gene therapy organizations.
  • Attending client meetings (face-to-face or phone) and generating comprehensive meeting minutes within two days.
  • Following up on requests for information from clients and the Global BD team.
  • Responding to inquiries received via email, website, phone, and trade shows.
  • Assisting Business Development Executives in the internal and external management and organization of Quarterly Business Review Meetings.
  • Managing smaller, less complex accounts.
  • Attending trade shows in a supportive capacity, if required.
  • Managing PCI Site Visits, including booking rooms, organizing internal attendees, and collating slide decks and presentation materials.
  • Attending PCI Site Meetings on behalf of the Business Development Executive (if appropriate).
  • Supporting and managing the submission of legal documentation such as CDAs or MSAs to PCI and Client legal teams.
