About The Position

The Associate, Client Relationship Management role at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida, involves working closely with private wealth advisors and teammates to service clients. The position ensures an exceptional client experience by collaborating with middle and back-office colleagues. This role serves as a key relationship manager for ultra-high net worth clients in Central and South America. Responsibilities include leading or participating in divisional efforts to improve business efficiencies, overseeing asset movements and portfolio implementations, and applying knowledge of organizational documents, estate planning, and tax concepts relevant to Central and South American clients. The role also involves introducing clients to the firm's offerings, identifying wealth advisory opportunities while considering client suitability and risk tolerance, and helping to prevent fraudulent activities through client behavior analysis. Transactional duties include executing, processing, and reconciling trading and other investment-related activities. Additionally, the Associate will serve as a coach and mentor for junior teammates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing the operations and logistics of a private or institutional client including cash management reconciliation, private banking services, and managing new account onboarding processes.
  • Two (2) years of experience assisting on projects related to new business development by leading and participating in divisional efforts to improve efficiencies in the firm.
  • Two (2) years of experience with back office and middle office processes, risk management, trade settlements, and other relevant processes that could be sensitive to clients.
  • Two (2) years of experience interpreting Financial and Cash management movements in complex discretionary portfolios.
  • Two (2) years of experience with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
  • Two (2) years of experience interacting and building relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help identify and prevent fraudulent activities by leveraging deep understanding of our clients and their behaviors.
  • Execute, process, and reconcile trading and other investment related transactions.
  • Serve as a coach/mentor for junior teammates.
