About The Position

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is seeking an Associate, Client Relationship Management in Miami, Florida. This role involves working closely with private wealth advisors and teammates to service clients, ensuring an exceptional client experience through collaboration with middle and back-office colleagues. The position acts as a key relationship manager for ultra-high net worth clients in Central and South America, leading divisional efforts to improve business efficiencies. Responsibilities include overseeing asset movements, portfolio implementations, and understanding organizational documents, estate planning, and tax concepts specific to Central and South American clients. The role also involves introducing clients to the firm’s offerings, identifying wealth advisory opportunities while assessing client suitability and risk tolerance, and preventing fraudulent activities through client behavior analysis. Transaction processing, reconciliation, and serving as a coach/mentor for junior teammates are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing the operations and logistics of a private or institutional client including cash management reconciliation, private banking services, and managing new account onboarding processes.
  • Two (2) years of experience assisting on projects related to new business development by leading and participating in divisional efforts to improve efficiencies in the firm.
  • Two (2) years of experience with back office and middle office processes, risk management, trade settlements, and other relevant processes that could be sensitive to clients.
  • Two (2) years of experience interpreting Financial and Cash management movements in complex discretionary portfolios.
  • Two (2) years of experience with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
  • Two (2) years of experience interacting and building relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with private wealth advisors and teammates to service our clients.

  • Lead or participate in divisional efforts to improve efficiencies within the business.
  • Oversee asset movements, portfolio implementations and leverage understanding of organizational documents, estate planning and tax concepts tailored to Central and South American Clients.
  • Introduce new and existing clients to the firm’s offerings including client reporting, digital capabilities and banking services.
  • Identify opportunities for wealth advisory services for clients, while understanding client suitability and risk tolerance.
  • Help identify and prevent fraudulent activities by leveraging deep understanding of our clients and their behaviors.
  • Execute, process, and reconcile trading and other investment related transactions.
  • Serve as a coach/mentor for junior teammates.
