Associate Category Manager
About The Position
The Associate Category Manager owns an assigned product category from Uline’s catalog of business support products. The role supports new product development by researching and sourcing products and vendors, builds vendor partnerships, and collaborates with Creative and Purchasing to develop catalog and digital strategies. The Associate Category Manager also guides Product Management Analysts and contributes to company profitability, product quality, and data accuracy. The position is based on-site at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and requires availability to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain, or Marketing.
- Availability to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
Responsibilities
- Own an assigned product category from the catalog of business support products.
- Research and source new products and vendors to support new product development.
- Visit vendors to learn about manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to keep up with industry trends.
- Lead vendor negotiations and develop successful partnerships.
- Collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams on catalog and digital strategies.
- Contribute to company profitability, product quality, and data accuracy.
- Mentor and support Product Management Analysts.
