About The Position

The Associate Business Manager serves as an operational partner to Alta’s Tucson leadership and project managers. This growth-track business management role provides hands-on exposure to project operations, financial performance, forecasting, contracts, billing, team support, and the systems that support an engineering office. The position helps maintain project data, support financial reviews, assist with invoicing and work in progress (WIP), improve dashboards, coordinate with Accounting and HR, and provide leaders with timely, data-informed decision support. The role is based in an in-person Tucson Geo office. Training is structured across the first 90 days, beginning with orientation and shadowing, followed by guided practice and progressively independent responsibility. By the third month, the Associate Business Manager is expected to be the primary operational resource for Tucson Geo, supporting WIP reviews, financial discussions, process improvements, project manager support, revenue tracking, forecasting, and issue resolution. The position is intended for someone early in their business career who is curious, organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing into a broader business management role.
