About The Position

Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Associate Broker to join its team in Tampa, Florida. Under general supervision from a Broker, Office Leader, or other executive, the position focuses on analyzing market research and selling new and renewal business. The Associate Broker develops and uses creative strategies to produce business and services a designated book of business. The position does not require driving for business.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of successful insurance experience.
Active state insurance license.

Responsibilities

Build, expand, and solidify client relationships at all levels, and coordinate appropriate resources to address client needs, risks, and underwriting or policy issues.
Analyze market information and develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members and customers.
Work with the Broker to obtain required information, complete applications, confirm quotes and binders in writing, ensure prompt and accurate policy issuance, make applicable state filings, and pay taxes according to state laws.
Market and provide solutions for new and renewal business revenue from existing clients.
Discuss business needs and propose company products and services to existing clients.
Maintain knowledge of available markets to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements.
Service the designated book of business through marketing, administration, and sales.
Monitor, identify, and develop new process and procedure methods.
Maintain compliance with Quality Control guidelines.
