About The Position

The Associate Brand Manager, Marketing Analytics plays a critical role in rapidly analyzing complex business data to identify and clearly articulate key trends, performance drivers, and risks that inform business decisions and growth strategy. This role requires strong ownership, speed, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, business analytics, or a related field, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of full funnel marketing tactics and impact on business results.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret market insights and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with POS data sources (Nielsen, Circana/IRI) and advanced Excel modeling.
  • Passion for body and hair care, with knowledge of competitors and trends.
  • Experience working with major customers partners in Mass or eCommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Own weekly business reporting, tracking performance vs. plan with speed and precision, quickly diagnosing key drivers and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Rapidly analyze brand performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends to surface risks and opportunities.
  • Compile monthly business analyses synthesizing complex data into clear, executive-ready takeaways.
  • Own NPI reporting, ensuring strong visibility into POS performance and consumer response.
  • Lead competitive defense by identifying shifts in the market and translating them into strategic recommendations.
  • Synthesize large datasets into concise, compelling narratives that explain what is driving or hindering performance and what actions should be taken.
  • Operate with agility, delivering timely insights in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Input forecasting assumptions as part of the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) building blocks, partnering closely with Brand Leadership and Demand Planning.
  • Support planning cycles with timely, accurate inputs for media and promotions.
