This position is responsible for assisting in the leadership and management of one or more of our consumer brands within our marketing department. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on collaborative interdepartmental teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in brand management preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team skills, with the ability to deliver strong business results through collaboration.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and convert it into insights, sustainable strategies, and actionable plans.
  • Experience with syndicated data (i.e. Nielson, Circana, Numerator, Power BI).
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with a clear, concise, and persuasive style.
  • Results orientation, focusing on achieving objectives and ensuring they are met correctly.
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, willing to do what it takes to get things done.
  • Comfortable making decisions with limited information and resources; self-reliant, proactive, and possessing a pioneering spirit.
  • Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion.
  • Ability to deliver against long-term brand goals and prioritize marketing initiatives effectively.
  • High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with company sales and merchandising standards, policies and procedures, and competitive position.
  • Knowledge of the industry.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Must be able to work in our Tarrytown office Tues/Wed/Thurs (remote on Mon/Fri).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a brand plan that achieves company P/L targets, including advertising, program/promotions, and research. Collaborate with agencies/vendors and internal resources to drive superior market results.
  • Manage the day-to-day logistics of brand programs, including timeline management, budget, and program analysis.
  • Work with the NPD team to translate consumer insights into profitable marketing initiatives and product innovations. Assist in developing selling propositions and launch support plans for retail.
  • Provide consumption-based data analysis for the brand, offering actionable insights to understand market trends and dynamics, and identify opportunities in markets with unmet needs.
  • Own ecommerce content, including digital shelf optimization, ratings/reviews, retailer.com execution, and SEO/paid search inputs.
  • Support the development and execution of brand social strategy and content plans, including campaign-specific content, influencer/creator partnerships, community engagement, and performance analysis.
  • Provide the sales organization with best-in-class materials for retailer presentations, working closely with Category Management.
  • Support the Monthly and longer-term S&OP planning process.
  • Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget.
