About The Position

The Associate Benefits Partner supports the delivery of core benefits operations through accurate data management, standardized process execution, and timely employee and stakeholder support. This person will ensure compliant, high-quality administration across health, welfare, and retirement programs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in benefits or HR administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with HRIS and/or benefits administration platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP).
  • Foundational understanding of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Customer service mindset with professional communication skills.
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and maintain compliance.
  • Foundational knowledge of medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with appropriate escalation judgment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, benefits platforms, and Microsoft/Google productivity tools.
  • Discretion in handling confidential employee information.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day benefits processes: enrollments, qualifying life events, dependent verification, status changes, terminations, COBRA administration, and eligibility updates.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries on benefits programs, policies, enrollment, payroll deductions, and vendor processes within established SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS, payroll, and vendor systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Partner with HR Operations (HRIS, Payroll, Central HR Ops) and vendors to resolve routine benefits issues.
  • Support benefits-related onboarding and off-boarding activities.
  • Assist with compliance activities, including audits, reporting, documentation retention, and reconciliation.
  • Track and escalate complex or non-standard issues to Benefits Partners or senior team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain benefits guides, SharePoint site, onboarding course, and internal process documentation.
  • Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support special projects, vendor implementations, or process improvement efforts as assigned.
