About The Position

The Shipping Associate is responsible for picking and packing customer orders with power equipment. This role involves moving and sorting product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse pick/storage location using powered equipment, unloading product from various transportation carriers, checking in product, and matching purchase orders to pack lists. The associate will also be responsible for marking materials with identifying information and maintaining an organized warehouse and work area.

Requirements

Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience
Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email
Able to develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
Able to build relationships with others by offering help and providing suggestions for improvement.

Responsibilities

Responsible for moving/sorting product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse pick/storage location by powered equipment according to current receiving guidelines. (Minimum of 50% of time).
Responsible for general receiving, unloading product from various transportation carriers, checking in product and matching purchase orders to pack lists.
Responsible for marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
Responsible for organizing warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
Additional duties as assigned.
