Auction.com is seeking an Associate Auction Coordinator to represent the company at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. The coordinator conducts, co-hosts, and participates in auctions, interacts with bidders, completes the processes needed for successful events, and educates customers about participating in auctions. The role is centered around Lincoln, Nebraska, with travel to auctions in surrounding areas, generally involving drives of 2–6 hours. Personal mileage over 40 miles per day is reimbursed; a rental car may occasionally be provided for trips beyond two hours, depending on projected mileage. Weekly auctions are assigned by the Area/State Manager according to scheduling needs, so the role requires a flexible and adaptable schedule. Training sessions, administrative tasks, and team calls are also part of the position. Auction days typically involve 2–4 hours of work. Average hours are 10–15 per week, though hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Training pay is $20 per hour, with pay increasing incrementally after successful positional training and as skills, proficiency, and responsibilities develop, within a stated range of $20–$30 per hour. The role is primarily conducted at auction and event locations rather than in an office. It requires customer service, professional communication, technical troubleshooting, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The coordinator must be comfortable leading and interacting with a crowd, traveling in a personal vehicle, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
