Associate Auction Coordinator (Omaha, NE)

Auction•Bellevue, NE
•Onsite

About The Position

Represent Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps, by conducting, co-hosting, and otherwise participating in auctions. Interact with bidders, complete the tasks and processes needed for successful auctions, and educate customers on how to participate. The role is centered around Omaha, Nebraska, and requires travel to auctions in surrounding areas. Personal mileage is reimbursed for travel beyond 40 miles per day; a rental car may occasionally be provided for longer trips, depending on projected mileage. The Area/State Manager assigns weekly auctions according to scheduling needs, so the position requires a flexible and adaptable schedule. Auction days generally involve 2–4 hours of work. Average hours are 10–15 per week, but hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required training, administrative tasks, and other opportunities may provide additional paid work. Training pay is $20 per hour, increasing incrementally after successful positional training as skills, proficiency, and responsibilities develop, up to $30 per hour. The role includes regular training and development opportunities and is performed in a unique environment without an office.
