About The Position
Tromberg, Miller, Morris & Partners, PLLC (TMMP), a law firm located in six states that represents financial institutions, lenders, and creditors, is seeking a Creditors’ Rights Associate Attorney licensed in New York and New Jersey to join its growing team. The firm describes its environment as professional and supportive, with opportunities for advancement into leadership and management positions. Experience is a plus but is not necessary, and TMMP is willing to train.
Requirements
- New York Bar license required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large number of matters simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Honesty and ethical conduct as an officer of the court.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Willingness to fulfill clients’ needs in a consumer-friendly manner.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is a plus, but is not necessary; the firm is willing to train.
- New Jersey Bar license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, defaults, motions, judgments, disputes, garnishments, and settlements.
- Manage a caseload and update the case management system.
- Prepare for and attend hearings or mediations as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with associate attorneys, staff, and clients.
