About The Position

The Associate Analyst – New Accounts Foreign Account Operations will support the Operations team in managing and executing tasks related to the onboarding and maintenance of international client accounts. This role involves handling documentation, coordinating with internal departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably with exposure to international account processing.
  • 1+ years of experience with BETA and New Account Opening Tool
  • High-energy self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for foreign accounts
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience reviewing large datasets and identifying discrepancies.
  • Ability to document and improve operational procedures.
  • Prior experience training or mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding of foreign accounts, including reviewing and processing account opening documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, advisors, and internal teams to resolve inquiries related to international account setup and maintenance.
  • Monitor workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing of account-related tasks.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails regarding account status, documentation requirements, and general inquiries.
  • Utilize internal systems to input, track, and update client account information.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and other departments to ensure adherence to international regulations (e.g., AML/KYC).
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of client documentation.
  • Assist in training new team members on foreign account procedures and systems.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing requested documentation and process explanations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures.
