About The Position

BizScout operates a marketplace that helps businesses connect, grow, and transition ownership. Its Private Client program is a concierge service for qualified buyers, sourcing and screening businesses, underwriting opportunities, and guiding buyers from intake through close. The Associate Advisor, Private Client will add execution capacity to the senior advisory team as the program scales, working alongside senior advisors on analytical and operational work that advances buyer searches. The role includes matching deal flow to buyer criteria with the business development team, first-pass underwriting, developing buyer profiles, and pipeline reporting. The position will eventually involve direct client contact as a day-to-day point of contact for buyers. It offers a path to managing a client portfolio and, over time, leading transactions through close. The role is based in Austin, Texas, and requires five days in the office, with travel as needed. It is full-time and reports to the Head of Private Client. Compensation is a $90,000–$105,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus eligibility for a performance bonus. The expected progression to Advisor, managing a dedicated client portfolio and becoming eligible for the advisor commission plan, is within roughly 12 months based on performance. Longer-term, the role may progress to leading transactions through close as a senior advisor.
