About The Position

PartnerRe is seeking a skilled and motivated Actuarial Associate to join its team. The successful candidate will develop actuarial models and tools, maintain documentation, and support key deliverables. The role includes pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and experience analysis, as well as maintaining and supporting US Life tools. The position is in a collaborative environment with a diverse team of financial professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a related discipline.
• Working towards an Associate in the Society of Actuaries or an equivalent designation.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities efficiently.
• Able to work in an open, collaborative environment with a diverse team of financial professionals.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of programs such as R, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and/or experience analysis.
• Peer review actuarial models and results performed by other team members.
• Perform experience studies under the direction of senior team members.
• Ensure models meet corporate guidelines and reflect best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation of pricing and/or research materials, actuarial models and experience studies.
• Maintain and provide support for US Life tools.
