About The Position

The Personal Lines Account Manager is passionate and proactive about the clients they serve. This position is primarily responsible for providing accurate and professional customer service to assigned personal lines P&C customers, exercising discretion and independent judgement. This position is also responsible for helping achieve department and organization revenue growth goals, through customer retention, account rounding and collaboration within the department and organization.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma required
• Texas P&C License required
• 1 year retail insurance agency experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or equivalent, preferred

Responsibilities

• Meets the service needs of all assigned customers, with guidance and training from more experienced Account Managers.
• Promotes customer retention through account review and account rounding; re-marketing accounts when necessary with training and guidance from seasoned account managers.
• Complies with all client service deliverable standards including maintaining work accuracy.
• Possesses and maintains a thorough understanding of personal lines P&C insurance exposures/rating/coverage and forms.
• Manages and organizes time to maintain client deliverable standards.
• Quoting in carrier websites.
• Set up client renewal review spreadsheets and proposals.
• Attaching documentation in the agency management system.
• Interacts with various staff to assure prompt superior service to both external & internal clients.
