About The Position

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) role is within the Ethicon US, LLC division of Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This position is based in Salt Lake City, UT. The primary focus of the AAE is to expand the sales of Ethicon products and convert competitive products, adhering to company policies and sales direction. This role provides support to the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities. Upon successful completion of duties, the AAE will be eligible to compete for the role of Account Executive. The AAE will receive comprehensive training to understand and demonstrate the proper use of Ethicon products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting. The role requires executing the selling cycle in a concise, professional, and ethical manner that leads the customer to action. The AAE will also be responsible for case coverage, assisting surgeons with strategic platforms and products in the operating room, and complying with standards for safe behavior and product/procedure/clinical knowledge. Business conduct must align with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 - 2 years business exp
  • The ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License issued the United States

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Established business planning and forecasting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred

Responsibilities

  • Expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and to convert competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction
  • Support to the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities
  • Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage customer product questions, and objections, in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology
  • Conduct sales presentations by using current selling methods learned in sales training courses
  • Case Coverage, ability to assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in an operating room
  • Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge
  • Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures
