About The Position

The Associate Nurse Manager works in UCHealth’s Medical Acute Care Unit at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. This is an onsite, full-time position on the day shift, scheduled for 80 hours per two-week pay period. The role supports direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Care is grounded in evidence-based models that include AMSN’s core curriculum and applicable specialty certification standards. Clinical Educators support individualized specialty education and training, including competency validation during clinical orientation. UCHealth describes its nursing approach as practicing to the top of scope, using the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing wellness and the patient perspective, and applying evidence-based practice. The role also models proficiency through precepting new healthcare or UCHealth team members and welcomes learning in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. The listed pay range is $42.90–$66.50 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Three years of experience in related clinical areas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must be valid through 60 days of hire. Renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.
Any relevant life support certification required at the position level.
