About The Position

This role involves operating and monitoring the Amada EML CNC Laser machine for fabrication production. The position requires setting up tooling, performing changeovers, and loading materials with precision. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and work orders, maintaining dimensional accuracy and quality standards, troubleshooting machine issues, performing routine maintenance, and conducting quality inspections of finished parts. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance processes and product quality, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Ability to set up machines for production fabrication and troubleshoot.
Knowledge and ability to use dial/digital calipers to measure and hold geometric tolerances.
Communicate to Supervisor/programmers effectively to resolve issues.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Amada EML CNC Laser machine for fabrication production.
Set up tooling, perform changeovers, and load materials ensuring proper alignment and accuracy.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure parts are produced to specification.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards according to blueprint requirements.
Troubleshoot machine and production issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
Perform routine maintenance and basic machine upkeep to support optimal equipment performance.
Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and regulations.
Support production goals and assist with other duties as assigned.
