The Facility Maintenance Supervisor (Coach) is a critical frontline leader responsible for driving technical execution, team performance, and overall facility reliability within one of the largest and most advanced bottle and can manufacturing facilities in the country. This role leads a team of skilled Facility Technicians while also owning the broader facility infrastructure, ensuring the plant operates safely, efficiently, and at world-class standards. This leader goes beyond traditional supervision, serving as a coach, mentor, and culture-builder who develops technical capability, reinforces accountability, and fosters an inclusive, high-performance team environment. The role requires a strong balance of hands-on technical expertise, structured problem-solving, and people leadership within a highly automated, high-speed manufacturing setting. In addition to leading daily maintenance execution, this position has full responsibility for facility and grounds management, including oversight of building systems such as roofing, HVAC, site security management, fire suppression system management, pest control program management, and general infrastructure. The supervisor manages third-party contractors on-site, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and to quality standards, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance through SAP CMMS, leading downtime events with urgency and precision, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce operational losses. This role also owns parts strategy, including identification, staging, and kitting of critical components to enable efficient maintenance execution. The Facility Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for managing and adhering to a facilities and maintenance budget, balancing cost control with operational needs, and making data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and long-term asset performance. Success in this role requires a highly organized, proactive, and data-driven leader who sets clear expectations, holds teams and contractors accountable, and recognizes contributions that drive measurable impact.
