About The Position

Machine Operator III is responsible for operating the Exit end of the coating line. Duties include operating the exit end equipment to meet the customer requirements for coil size whilst maintaining the highest line speed, entering coil production and line time data into Oracle, creating tags for all coils that come off the exit end, working with quality and material handlers to ensure that coil material flow form exit to the packaging line is efficient , monitors HMI’s for alarms/issues , ensures that paint line equipment is configured correctly for painting activities and coordinating with other team members to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
One year of Manufacturing Experience
Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
Basic computer skills
Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
Detail Oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

6 + months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment
Mobile equipment operations skills

Responsibilities

Operating the Exit end of the coating line.
Operating the exit end equipment to meet customer requirements for coil size whilst maintaining the highest line speed.
