About The Position

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking an Assisted Living Resident Assistant to provide personal care and support to residents. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, mealtimes, assigned shift duties, communication, activities, and responding to call lights and emergencies.

The position offers part-time hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and full-time hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wages range from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on licensure and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, foot care, vital signs, and height and weight checks according to policy.
• Assist residents during mealtimes, cut food, and encourage residents to eat.
• Complete and document assigned shift duties; report incomplete duties to the nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services as needed.
• Provide activities as planned or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
