About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate, dedicated RN or LPN to care for assisted living residents. The role centers on providing comfort, promoting dignity, and helping residents live life their way throughout their retirement journey. Nurses build relationships with residents and their families and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. Starting pay is $30.00–$34.00 per hour for RNs and $27.00–$30.00 per hour for LPNs. Shift differential pay is $2 per hour for second shift and $3 per hour for third shift. Applicants must pass pre-employment screenings, which may include criminal background and abuse registry checks, a drug test, a physical, and a TB test.

Requirements

Current and active RN or LPN license in Iowa.
Genuine passion for caring for others.
Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Dependability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Commitment to treating every resident with respect, compassion, and dignity.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pass required pre-employment screenings, which could include criminal background checks, an abuse registry check, a drug test, a physical, and a TB test.
