About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and motivated RN or LPN to provide care to assisted living residents. The role emphasizes building relationships, enriching residents’ lives, providing comfort, promoting dignity, and helping residents live life their way throughout their retirement journey. Starting pay is $30.00–$34.00 per hour for RNs and $27.00–$30.00 per hour for LPNs. Shift differentials are $2 per hour for second shift and $3 per hour for third shift. Benefits are available to employees working 25 hours or more per week; additional listed benefits are available to all employees. Applicants must pass applicable pre-employment screenings, which could include criminal background checks, an abuse registry check, a drug test, a physical, and a TB test.

Requirements

Hold a current and active RN or LPN license in Iowa.
Have a genuine passion for caring for others.
Demonstrate strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Be dependable and professional, with attention to detail.
Be able to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Commit to treating residents with respect, compassion, and dignity.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pass applicable pre-employment screenings, which could include criminal background checks, an abuse registry check, a drug test, a physical, and a TB test.
