About The Position

Mirador, affiliated with Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a leader in continuing care retirement living. They offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services. MRC's goal is to maximize residents' physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual potential, providing specialized care in a dignified, comfortable, and nurturing environment. This role will lead a team to provide hospitality and residential living in Mirador’s 44-unit Assisted Living and 18-unit Memory Support. The position oversees all aspects of staff and operations, and works with marketing to communicate offers and benefits to prospective residents and their families.

Requirements

Must be a licensed LVN with prior clinical experience.
Must have supervisory/managerial experience.
Must have administrative and business knowledge of Assisted Living regulations and budget.
Must have the ability to develop strong relationships with residents, supporting family members and staff.
Must have prior experience in or knowledge about dementia disease processes and leadership experience in a Memory Support unit.
Possess an Assisted Living Certification or ability to obtain as required by regulation.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of dedicated staff to provide the best possible hospitality and residential living in Mirador’s 44-unit Assisted Living and 18-unit Memory Support.

Work closely with marketing to appropriately convey the unit's residential living offers and benefits to prospective residents and their supporting family members.
