About The Position

The Assisted Living Director is responsible for operating the Assisted Living setting in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. The role promotes residents’ physical, personal, and emotional well-being through a team approach and works with other departments to support resident well-being. The director also assists the Director of Wellness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• LPN license or Medication Technician Certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical, personal, and emotional well-being through a team approach.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures.
• Develop staffing plans, reports, and budgets.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed regarding resident well-being.
• Make frequent rounds and ensure continuity of care.
• Document pertinent care information and observe residents’ overall condition and behavior.
• Assist the Director of Wellness.
