About The Position

The Assisted Living Assistant Director of Nursing works closely under the direction of the Wellness Director to ensure resident services are completed on a day-to-day basis. These services include coordinating and supervising personal care and medication services, as well as staff training and supervision. The role requires an active LPN license in good standing, experience in assisted living or a nursing home, knowledge of applicable senior-housing regulations, and the ability to support safe, efficient resident care.

Requirements

• Must be an LPN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.
• At least 3 years of experience in assisted living and/or a nursing home.
• Knowledge of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to reprioritize daily tasks to accommodate changing resident and community needs.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience in training and staff development.
• Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
