About The Position

The purpose of the role is to design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies, providing business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. This involves developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing are essential. Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contributing to the organization’s technology communities to foster technical excellence and growth are also key. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions, along with the implementation of effective unit testing practices for proper code design, readability, and reliability, are critical.

Design architecture for enterprise-grade, distributed, microservices-based, and cloud-native applications.
Translate high-level requirements and designs into robust technical artefacts.
Engineer solutions using event-driven microservices and enterprise integration pattern-based architectures.
Participate in model/design storming sessions, sprint demos, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
Define development standards, reusable patterns, and engineering techniques.
Manage setup and maintenance of non-production development and test environments.
Designed and optimized big data solutions.
Onboard and mentor new developers.
Collaborate with the System Team Leader, Product Owner, and Project Manager to shape the project backlog and ensure requirements were well-defined for development.

Review and provide feedback on test plans and scripts to ensure coverage and quality.
