Requirements

  • Have a 4-year degree in a related field OR have experience working in a community bank in a similar role / scope.
  • Have a proven track record of successful sales-driven experience.
  • Some travel is necessary in this role; must have a valid Driver’s License & an insurable driving record.
  • Have a high numerical aptitude.
  • Have the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Have the ability to work with multiple levels of management & agency staff.
  • Have skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment.
  • Regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone.
  • Occasionally lift &/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with day-to-day activities within the Treasury Management department, including driving new business & expanding existing relationships withing the bank’s treasury management services portfolio.
  • Serving clients, identifying their needs & providing consultative solutions that enhance client financial efficiency & optimize cash flow.
  • Managing a Commercial loan portfolio as well as generating new loan volume and deposits for the bank.
  • Making credit decisions (within authority guidelines), overseeing overall credit quality, & fee income with the goal of helping each client meet the objectives of their personal & professional full financial health.
  • Understanding client needs & challenges related to cash management, liquidity, & risk management.
  • Assisting clients with balancing their daily operational needs with strategic investment opportunities.
  • Helping clients maintain liquidity & support growth.
  • Recommending & presenting tailored solutions from the bank’s treasury management product suite.
  • Fulfilling day-to-day duties of ongoing client service & support including, but not limited to, the set-up, administration, maintenance & training for clients in the following product/service areas: Pro-Biz Checking accounts, Savings accounts, On-line banking, Treasury Management Services, HSA accounts.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with existing clients, internal stakeholders, & referral sources.
  • Creating & evaluating treasury management sales proposals and pricing for prospective and existing clients to further develop and strengthen business relationships.
  • Collaborating with other bank departments, such as lending, relationship banking, wealth planning & insurance to offer holistic financial solutions.
  • Working closely with the operational area of the bank & third-party vendors to serve as the Profinium expert on Pro-Biz suite of products.
  • Expanding existing commercial loan relationships within guidelines set by bank policy & growth targets.
  • Developing deposit accounts from commercial clients.
  • Managing the commercial loan portfolio, including credit quality, credit approval, operations process, & the profitability of the portfolio.
  • Analyzing loan data on new, renewal & existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions & financial institution files.
  • Monitoring loans in repayment & collecting past due loans and loans in default.
  • Ensuring that proper documentation is completed.
  • Establishing structure of loans within framework of loan policy.
  • Generating new loan & deposit volume for the bank & deepening current relationships.
  • Increasing volume of quality deposits, treasury management services, loans, mortgage insurance, & investment services using the R-E-A process, along with the call programs developed in sales meetings.
  • Referring customers to the Retail Department of the bank for deposit relationships as well as to the Mortgage, Investment & Insurance departments.
  • Maintaining a general understanding of Profinium’s product & service offerings to confidently & accurately diagnose additional client/prospect needs & execute partnership opportunities.
  • Achieving referral results based on annual targets communicated by supervisor.
  • Actively participating in community & civic organizations as appropriate to represent the bank in a positive fashion.
  • Ensuring that customer service is provided in a high-quality manner, as outlined in the bank’s strategic direction & our Amazing Client Experience (ACE) Pledge.
  • Demonstrating ownership of skill, knowledge & training opportunities for personal growth; searching out & requesting necessary development that will aid in success.
  • Serving in an informal leadership role within the branch; acting as a resource & support system to other bank employees & making confident decisions in a time of need.
