At First Student, our Assistant Transportation Managers are a constant reflection of our company’s commitment to safety and customer service. The Assistant Transportation Manager is responsible for assisting the Location Manager in supervising daily operations, monitoring performance, identifying safety concerns, and resolving issues while ensuring all routes run safely and efficiently. This position supports the following school partners: Providence School Department, R.I.D.E., The Learning Community, PVD Prep, Hope Academy, Nuestro Mundo Charter School, and The Met School , and oversees a large team of drivers, monitors, and operational staff.
