About The Position

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the VP/SVP in San Diego, CA. This full-time, onsite role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the VP, including calendar management, travel and expense processing, and managing staff and leadership meetings. The position also requires planning and coordinating customer and supplier visits, providing administrative support to the QRE/PTE team, assisting with compliance activities and QMS events, and supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications. General administrative duties include managing correspondence, maintaining office supplies, and supporting onboarding logistics for new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.
  • OR Associate's degree and 6+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.
  • OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
  • 3–5 years of administrative or office support experience; junior-level candidates will be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with calendar management and scheduling
  • Ability to manage a dynamic workload and shift priorities as needed
  • Comfortable working with diverse groups including internal teams, customers, and suppliers

Responsibilities

  • Provide calendar support, travel and expense management, staff and leadership meeting management, and document preparation for the VP.
  • Plan and coordinate customer visits, including agendas, conference room reservations, catering arrangements, and on-site logistics.
  • Organize supplier visits in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the QRE/PTE team, including document handling, tracking action items, and maintaining organized records.
  • Assist with coordination of compliance-related activities and QMS events.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Manage correspondence and internal communications on behalf of the team.
  • Maintain office supplies and shared team resources.
  • Support onboarding logistics for new team members.
