About The Position

This part-time position assists the Family Resource Center (FRC) Director with daily functions. The role requires computer competency in Excel, CANVA, and social media, along with effective oral and written communication skills. The assistant must possess pleasant phone skills, even in difficult conversations, and treat all individuals with kindness, respect, and confidentiality. Responsibilities include learning about collaborative partners to connect families, assisting with purchasing clothing, shoes, and food for families, accurately posting expenses, and completing purchase orders. Flexibility with hours, which may fall outside traditional job hours, is also required. Other duties may be performed as assigned to ensure efficient and effective job functions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Required knowledge and expertise with various computer programs (Microsoft, Google, and email)
  • Knowledge of Powerschool
  • Previous experience in an office setting or a team experience involving collaborating with others
  • Strong propensity to learn
  • Self-starter
  • Strong work habits
  • Organizational skills
  • Flexibility in scheduling work hours as the need exists
  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
  • Ability to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, sitting for long periods of time, walking, seeing, standing for extended periods of time, etc.)
