About The Position

The Assistant to the Chair (A2C) Executive Strategy Program is a selective, fast-track management development internship for high-performing, self-motivated, experienced individuals seeking to develop the management and leadership skills needed to succeed at senior levels. Interns work alongside the chair, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team on special projects and initiatives that influence the firm’s strategy, business development, and ongoing success. They learn from senior leaders in financial services and regularly participate in board of directors and other senior-management meetings. The internship lasts 10–12 weeks, with a target start date of June 7, 2027, and a target end date of August 27, 2027; dates are flexible based on business needs and availability. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The position is resident at the St. Petersburg office, with in-office attendance 4–5 days per week. The role develops and evaluates strategic initiatives across business units, supports long-range planning, and drives initiatives from proposal through execution. It involves analyzing business cases, potential solutions, financial justifications, and competitor activity; presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders; and coordinating across organizational functions. The intern is expected to use sound judgment in ambiguous situations, work independently, lead cross-functional efforts without direct reporting authority, and adapt plans as business needs change.
