About The Position

The Assistant Teacher supports Pre-K Counts programming in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The role is for a certified teacher who is passionate about helping children learn, connecting with the community, and creating a fun, diverse environment. The position is full-time and hourly, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The YMCA describes a supportive team environment, opportunities to learn and grow, and the chance to contribute to a nonprofit organization working to strengthen the community.

Requirements

• CDA or 60 post-secondary credits; an associate degree in any domain is preferred.
• At least 2 years of documented experience working with children.
• Passion for working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Certified teacher.
