Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher

About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports a Pre-K Counts program in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The role is full-time, hourly, year-round, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The YMCA seeks a certified teacher who is passionate about helping children thrive, connecting with the community, and creating a fun, diverse learning environment. The position provides support from a team and opportunities to learn and grow within a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening the community.
Requirements
- CDA or 60 postsecondary credits.
- At least 2 years of documented experience working with children.
- Passion for working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
- At least 18 years of age.
