About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring an Early Child Care Assistant Teacher to help provide a supportive, safe, and enriching classroom environment for children. The role works alongside a Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities, care for children, communicate with families, and document children's milestones using electronic daily tracking. The position is part of a team-oriented workplace focused on inclusion, giving back, and helping employees advance their careers through on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated experience working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• Early childhood coursework, a CDA, or a degree.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and ensure the classroom functions smoothly.
• Partner with families to nurture and care for their children.
• Use electronic daily tracking to document children's special milestones.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
